Story: The Vergina Sun, also known as Vergina Star, is an ancient Greek symbol depicted in various archaeological findings, such as pots and coins. It became most widely known because of its depiction of the golden shrine found in a royal tomb in Vergina in 1977. It is attributed to the Macedonian Royal dynasty of Philip II and Alexander the Great.
