Alexandra Makrygeorgou is the founder and chairwoman of the enterprise Liofyllo as well as one of the two inventors of the innovative material. She is a graduate of the Accounting Department of the A.T.E.I. Patras, while she holds a postgraduate degree in "New Principles of Business Administration (M.B.A.)" of the University of Patras. Her academic background has helped her in the management of various businesses, at the administrative, accounting and marketing levels. In 2008, through her postgraduate studies, she participated in the "Future Leaders" program, solving social problems faced by non-profit organizations in their local ecosystem but also helping to harmonize NGOs with the local community, reaping the benefits of social entrepreneurship and experience in this field from an early age. At the same time, she has rich work experience in the field of network marketing, sales and in the organization and management of human resources. Finally, she has been awarded for her work and contribution through Liofyllo as “Person of the Year 2020” in the Education – Research – Innovation category and at the Business Elite’s Awards 2020 “40 under 40” as a visionary and social entrepreneur.
