Liofyllo is not confined to the boundaries of Patras. Every idea born within our team has the power to travel, inspire, and create change beyond Greek borders. Through the European programs we participate in, we transform green know-how, the power of education, and tradition into international practices of sustainability, innovation, and social entrepreneurship.
In its effort to connect local action with European inspiration, Liofyllo takes part in a range of projects with different pillars. For example, Green Opportunity – Re-design the Future promotes the circular economy and sustainable creation, while GREENLIGHT educates school communities and young people on clean renewable energy and green practices. Through YouthSOFTPOWER, we support active participation and the development of leadership skills among vulnerable youth groups through Official Development Assistance and the Sustainable Development Goals. Meanwhile, ROMA-GEM empowers Roma girls by offering them alternative employment models and access to green and digital entrepreneurship.
The Inno-Antidote and INTERACTION projects connect creativity with innovation and green entrepreneurship, equipping young people with skills that can make a difference in the world around them. STUDentrepreneurs and Upinfood turn knowledge into practical action, encouraging students and small businesses to implement sustainable and innovative solutions within their sectors.
Each project acts as a bridge connecting us to Europe. Liofyllo has extensive experience in designing and implementing specialized educational programs and interactive workshops that promote environmental awareness, green entrepreneurship, and social innovation. These activities are primarily aimed at young people, including individuals from vulnerable social groups, offering them hands-on learning opportunities that inspire active participation and sustainable practices. The team has developed educational materials tailored to different audiences—from young people and women in rural areas to educators—providing guides on green innovation, creativity, sustainability, and social action.
At the same time, Liofyllo actively participates in numerous Erasmus+ programs and international collaborations focused on youth empowerment, environmental sustainability, and the cultivation of active citizenship.
