YouthSOFTPOWER

The YouthSOFTPOWER project (2025-1-ES02-KA220-YOU-000354474) aims to empower disadvantaged youth by promoting active citizenship, European values and inclusion. It enhances critical soft skills such as communication, leadership and empathy, fostering a strong European identity and solidarity. By focusing on Official Development Assistance (ODA) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the project equips youth with the knowledge and tools to advocate for global justice and equality.

Objectives

– Promote active citizenship and European values among disadvantaged youth by fostering awareness of democracy, equality and justice.
– Develop critical soft skills such as communication, leadership, and critical thinking through practical workshops and role-playing activities.
– Ensure inclusion and diversity by creating accessible activities tailored to marginalized groups, including refugees, migrants and disadvantaged youth.
– Educate young people on the significance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Official Development Assistance (ODA), empowering them to become informed advocates for global change.
– Foster cross-cultural understanding and cooperation.

Impact

By bringing together youth and organizations with unique expertise, the project promotes cultural exchange and mutual learning. Participants collaborate on advocacy campaigns for (ODA) and (SDGs), integrating perspectives from various European regions. This fosters cross-cultural understanding and equips participants to address global challenges with shared values such as democracy, equality, and solidarity.

Partner Organizations

The YouthSOFTPOWER project brings together two universities, two NGOs, one social cooperative initiative and one small sized company from five countries, each contributing expertise in youth education, advocacy and policy development.
